Languages are one of my strongest skills. I am fluent in English, Russian, and French, which has allowed me to communicate effectively in diverse environments and connect with people from various cultural backgrounds. Additionally, I am currently expanding my linguistic abilities by studying Spanish through Spanish 10 and have plans to further enhance my proficiency by taking Spanish 20 and 30 in the upcoming years. This ongoing commitment to language learning reflects my passion for broadening my communication skills and understanding of different cultures.
Babysitting (2021–Present)
Since 2021, I have had the privilege of working as a babysitter, during which I have cultivated a wide range of essential childcare skills while simultaneously gaining valuable work experience. I have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the well-being of the children under my care. My responsibilities have included preparing meals, supervising outdoor play to ensure safety and enjoyment of the children , reading stories, and engaging in activities. This experience has allowed me to build a solid foundation in childcare, nurturing both my personal growth and professional capabilities.
Student Volunteer (2021-2024)
During my time in junior high (grades 7-9), I had the privilege of volunteering as part of the school leadership program. In this capacity, I was involved in organising a variety of activities aimed at engaging elementary school children, coordinating recycling initiatives focused on cans and waste management, and designing informative posters for school events. Additionally, I contributed by staying after school to assist with larger events. This experience not only allowed me to develop valuable organisational and leadership skills but also strengthened my ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to my school community.
On several occasions, I attended after-school sports events where I assisted in various capacities to ensure the smooth running of each game. My responsibilities included setting up equipment, leading the athletes' prayer, keeping score during the events and much more. These tasks allowed me to demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities, all while fostering a positive and supportive environment for the athletes. My involvement in these activities not only enhanced my teamwork and communication skills but also deepened my appreciation for the value of sportsmanship and community within the school setting.
I currently attend high school in Southeast Calgary, where I challenge myself with a rigorous course load while consistently maintaining grades in the high 80s. Prior to this, I spent ten years at two French immersion school, which enabled me to achieve fluency in French and strengthened my language skills. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a degree in Business` after graduation.
